X-Play Studio Network configuration and connection

|
1. Check that your desktop computer has a name. |
|
2. Check Desktop PC has a network card and TCP/IP
protocol installed and an IP address assigned to it. |

3. Check that you have network access from Pocket PC
to Desktop PC (try connecting to your desktop computer with File
Explorer example: \\YourDesktopComputerName\C$ ) also check that you can
browse internet from your Pocket PC. |

4. Reboot your Desktop PC and do a soft reset of your
Pocket PC. |

5. After Microsoft Windows started check that X-Play
Studio icon appeared in the tray bar. If you do not see the icon in the
tray bar, than start X-Play Studio by double clicking on the X-Play
Studio shortcut located on your desktop. |

6. Start X-Play Commander on your Pocket PC.
Open "Options" window. Check that “Server Name” field matches with your
desktop computer name. To find you computer name right click on X-Play
Studio tray icon select "Control Center" and select "Properties" tab.
Make sure Server Name on your Pocket PC matches Server Name on your
Desktop PC. |

7. Click OK to save new settings. |

8. Click Connect button on you Pocket PC |
